Internet Craps Rules
Internet Craps is a dice game which is similar to the old game Hazard. Players wager against other players or the bank on the outcome
of one or more rolls of two dice. The craps game
needs so little equipment that it is very popular among the non-gambling populace.
The players roll the dice by turn, and the player rolling is called the “shooter”. Each game has several rounds,
and the first round of a game is called “come-out roll” in gambling jargon.
When the shooter gets a total of 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, it is called a natural, and the shooter wins the pass line bet
(the wager made prior to the come-out roll). If the shooter gets a total of 2, 3 or 12, making it “craps” and the player loses the pass line bet.
Whenever craps or a natural ends a game, a new come-out is rolled by the shooter.
On getting a total of 4, 5,6,8,9 or 10 (a “point”) the shooter keeps rolling again until he gets a 7 or the point again.
On rolling the point again, the shooter wins the pass line bet, and a new game begins with the shooting rolling a come-out again. If the shooter rolls a 7 instead,
he loses the pass line bet, and the player left to the shooter begins a new game.
Bets in Internet Craps:
- Pass line: The bet placed before the come-out roll. It wins if the total of the roll is 7 or 11, and loses if the total is 2, 3 or 12.
It also wins when a point is rolled again.
- Don’t pass line: The opposite of pass line. It loses if the total is 7 or 11, and wins if it is 2, 3 or 12. It also loses when a point is rolled again.
- Pass odds: This bet is placed when a natural doesn’t occur and a point is established. The players can bet one to even hundred times
their pass line bet on the point. Casinos pay 2 to 1 is the point rolled again is 4 or 10, 3 to 2 if the point is 5 or 9 and 6-5 if the point is either 6 or 8.
- Don’t pass odds: This bet pays if 7 is rolled instead of the point again. The odds are the same as in pass odds, depending on what the point is.
- Come bet: It is similar to a pass line bet, with the change being that it is made after the come-out roll. It wins on 7 and 11, and loses on 2, 3 and 12. It wins if a point is rolled again, and loses if 7 is rolled.
- Don’t come bet: Simply enough, it is the opposite of a come bet and is similar to don’t pass line bets.
